The 10th anniversary edition of the WRCS starts on New Years Eve.
This year’s edition will feature the new and exciting challenge for each rider to determine where each ride starts with a whopping 9 different start locations.
As in years past riders earn points based on each rides lowest posted wind chill temperature (colder = more points).

The 2012 WRCS base points formula is: (70 minus the lowest recorded wind chill temperature = the rides temperature points).
Double temperature points are awarded to single-speed riders.
All riders will receive an additional 25 "night-ride" points on weeknight rides.
After a rider has earned points on one of the season's rides, he or she may earn 15 social points simply by showing up at the beginning of the ride to say hi.
The last ride of the series will be worth double everything points.
