Robert's Winter Rides

The 2010 edition of RWR starts Monday, November 30th 2009. Riders earn points based on each rides historical temperature (colder = more points). The points formula is (70 minus the average low temp for that day). Double bonus points are awarded to single-speed riders. All weeknight rides will receive an additional 25 "nite-ride" points. After a rider has earned points on one of the season's rides, he or she may earn 15 social points simply by showing up to say hi.

Ahh, pure, unadulterated insanity--I love it! The formula is great, too--is Robert by chance a statistician? Accountant? Perhaps actuary? Don't know, but keep on ridin' and setting the example for the rest of us armchair riders!
